CICCC Update – 10 February 2015 Meeting
Changes in top people at Terminals Pty Ltd
At its meeting on 10 February 2015, Carlo advised that George Horman, Terminals Managing Director, would also leave Terminals at the end of the month. David Bozinoski., the Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed as the Acting CEO, anticipating that a permanent CEO will be appointed within six months.
Presentation by Jodie Georgiou, Manager, Major Hazards Program, WorkSafe
Jodie advised that the Health and Safety Operation areas at WorkSafe had been restructured in mid 2014. A Senior Safety Analyst position and a Principal Safety Analyst position have been removed from the Major Hazards Program. Currently three Safety Analysts are working part time. Due to internal movements and resignations in the MHF Field Team, 5 inspectors are new to the team.
In 2014 there was no incident classified as “serious” at any Major Hazard Facility in Victoria.
Next meeting of the CICCC
The next meeting will be held at the Maribyrnong Civic Centre on Tuesday 12 May 2015 at 3pm. Stephen Wall, the CEO of Maribyrnong City Council, will address the meeting.
